Why is biological treatment better than other methods?
Most people often have the habit of pouring leftover food and grease directly into the sink after cooking and washing dishes. This habit is repeated every day, so the amount of leftover food and grease under the drain increases, not decomposing in time, causing a bad smell. In addition, food scraps have a hard structure, cannot escape, stick to the grease and get stuck in the pipe wall. This is the cause of clogged drain pipes, causing the sink to be clogged, and the wastewater cannot be drained.
Therefore, dealing with blockages caused by grease is not only a top concern of restaurants, eateries, ... but also a worry of housewives. So how to solve this problem?
Treating grease with conventional methods
With many ingredients available in the house such as baking soda, white vinegar, boiling water will help you easily unclog the pipe. These methods have the effect of breaking the shape of grease, but the structure remains the same. The grease melts and continues to move through the pipes without any problems. However, these fat molecules will continue to solidify, causing blockages in the drain and causing other problems.
Treating grease with biological products is a modern biological method that is optimal and much superior to other methods.
Why is it said that biological methods are more optimal than other methods?
The advantage of microorganisms is that they can decompose grease, so how do they decompose grease?
The microorganisms in Biofix Grease Liquid will use grease molecules as food, they will create their own enzymes, then these enzymes will break down grease molecules into fatty acids and glycerol. Microorganisms will continue to digest fatty acids and glycerol and convert them into basic components such as water and CO2. Then, the microorganisms form cells and divide, increasing the number of microorganisms. Thanks to this mechanism, microorganisms can reach grease from a distance and the grease will not solidify back and damage the pipes.
In addition, the cinnamon scent in the product will neutralize the bad smell inside the pipes and grease traps.
How is grease treatment with microorganisms different from chemicals?
Chemicals:
Chemicals work quickly but only in places where the chemicals can come into contact: Pipeline cleaning chemicals are often in liquid, powder, crystal form, ... but basically they all work in the same way. These chemicals react with the clog to create gas and heat. Help the pipes to be clear.
Potentially corrosive to the pipeline system: Pipeline cleaning agents use strong chemicals, which will help to free up pipes that are likely to be clogged. But the chemical reactions will also expose your pipes to the heat and gas produced. This causes the metal pipes to corrode.
Can be dangerous to users: Drain cleaners are usually strong chemicals such as lye, caustic soda or bleach. Due to their high toxicity, they are very dangerous and can cause burns or skin corrosion if exposed.
Microbiological preparations:
Because microorganisms need time to adapt and grow, they work more slowly than chemicals:
Treatment of sections inside the pipeline: The components of grease-treating microorganisms are beneficial bacteria strains. When they enter the pipeline system, they will use grease and organic matter as food. From there, they will grow and multiply in large numbers and continue to eat grease and organic waste accumulated in sections deep inside the pipeline.
Preventing pipeline corrosion: The method of treating grease with biological preparations takes advantage of beneficial microorganisms to eat grease and organic waste and create CO2, water and dissolved fatty acids. Microorganisms are non-pathogenic, do not contain strong cleaning agents and are safe to handle, so they do not corrode pipes.
Does not affect the health of users: Because this method is a biological measure, using beneficial microorganisms as a mechanism to digest accumulated organic waste and does not cause disease. So it is safe for users and the environment.
