So what is Poly Glu bio-powder?

PolyGlu powder is a coagulant with both organic and inorganic properties. It is made from polyglutamic acid - a water-soluble and biodegradable amino acid - and inorganic compounds such as calcium compounds. Compared with other types of coagulants, PolyGlu has multifunctional effects and can be used to purify polluted water and wastewater.

Operating principle of PolyGlu

Impurities in water are made up of negatively charged particles that repel each other and flocculation occurs when PolyGlu is added. Helps break the repulsion of negatively charged particles and separate them from water. Then the flocs settle to the bottom and separate from the water.

The effect of this product is huge because only 1 gram of this powder can treat about 5-10L of polluted water, depending on the turbidity of the water source. In addition, it can purify water with different acidity and temperature levels. However, water needs to be disinfected before drinking.
